What are Shopee’s logistics channels? What is the shipping process?

Shopee primarily uses its own logistics channels and also supports Cash on Delivery (COD). For non-COD orders, buyers need to pay for the items and shipping fees online during checkout.

For sellers who have opened a Shopee store, choosing the right logistics channel is essential. However, it’s important to first understand the available logistics channels and the shipping process.

1. Logistics Channels for Taiwan

• Mainly uses Shopee’s own logistics channels.

• Supports COD. For non-COD orders, buyers must pay online during checkout via credit card or bank transfer.

• For COD orders, goods can be delivered to the buyer’s home or picked up at 7-Eleven/Black Cat stores for payment and collection.

2. Logistics Channels for Singapore & Malaysia

• For Chinese sellers, Shopee primarily uses its own logistics channels but also supports third-party logistics providers.

• COD is available.

3. Logistics Channels for Indonesia & Philippines

• Primarily uses Shopee’s own logistics channels.

• Supports both COD and non-COD payment methods.

• For non-COD orders, buyers must pay online via credit card or bank transfer.

4. Logistics Channels for Thailand

• Mainly uses Shopee’s own logistics channels, supporting bulk shipping for sellers.

• Offers both COD and non-COD options.

• For non-COD orders, buyers must complete payment (credit card/bank transfer) during checkout.

5. Logistics Channels for Vietnam

• Currently, only mainland Chinese sellers can use Shopee’s own logistics channels.

• Only COD is supported at this time.

What is the Shipping Process?

Step 1: Order Creation
① The seller packs the goods and ships them to the logistics provider’s warehouse.
② The seller registers the order in the logistics provider’s system to obtain a tracking number.
③ The tracking number is uploaded to the Shopee seller center, and the seller clicks “Ship.”

Step 2: Within DTS (Days to Ship) Period

• The seller must deliver the package to the logistics provider’s designated warehouse within the set DTS timeframe.
  (*Note: No need to attach shipping labels—the logistics provider will handle this.)

Step 3: Within 3 Days

• The logistics provider receives, packages, and ships the goods as soon as possible.

Step 4: Within 10 Days

• The shipment arrives in the destination country and clears customs.

Step 5: Within 5 Days

• Last-mile delivery: The package is either delivered to the buyer’s address or made available for pickup, depending on the buyer’s choice.
